So they are in the game but are they usable?
Can you buy the required skills?
Was this a blunder by CCP and will they be removed?

well, i don t want to give any tips to ccp,
BUT:
when they introduce something, and few hours later lots of people got it already, one saying that he got 2 by 2 instant missions he "didn t care too much about"
i think that somethings wrong.
this is only slightly better than handing out miner ii bp s, i guess?!?

No I didnt get one - non avaiable to buy at in the region..
Its not like you can profit like the Miner II thing though, and isnt it half the fun finding these things?? Well I think it is myself.

They were planned to be given out by agents for a while. They're not common, but then again they're not that rare either. It's all down to the luck of the draw, which is the beauty of agent missions.
But then it doesn't matter if you haven't got the skills to do anything with them. All you can do is set there going "ooh! aah!" while they sit in your hangar gathering dust. Unless created a character with the skills in the first place.

Typical CCP. One person says one thing and another person says something completely different.
The cluemobile was definitely in for a service when they made this patch.
Ah well. At least I might have a stock of implants ready for when the skills come in. Though by the time that happens they'll be nerfed into oblivion and be about as useful as a civ shield booster.

implants were in the patch notes a long time before the patch came out. if you look at the notes in the sticky on top of this forum, the first line under agents says
'There are a few missions in the game now which give implants as a reward. These missions are handed out by some level 3 agents when certain requirements are met.'
i logged on after patch just to see if i would get one. the first lvl3 mission i got mentioned an implant as a reward.
so it wasnt slipped in. i just wish i had the skill to use it :) |
