I can't say that I have experienced many of the problems people have posted, maybe people have downloaded bad patches or need to clean their cache. 
There are a couple of things that I dont like or don't work, but nothing major that would cause me to want a rollback.
I love the GUI, its a little snappier and sharper (good job)
I prefer the new evemail window (good job)
Thumbs up on the anchoring, works fine, only niggle I have with it is theres a funny Wireframe spehere effect when anchoring the container :) I dont like the fact that you have to get 5km away, unless there was a distance meter to show you that you were out of the way of any rock by 5km.
Implants shown on market (great, a sign of good things to come - some have got them already from agents)
I love the naming of the cans, and the updating !
Love the fact that those damn ugly green blobs have been removed from corp / group mates, however the ship indicators seem weird for non corp/group members.

Oh i almost forgot.
Right Click Refine (My Fave feature :P)
and erm I would prefer to be doused in the finest caldari cruiser fuel and launched from a MOA cruiser into the Todaki Star!

I want a right-click "Recycle" feature because the damn refinery screen flashes back to the top after each reprocessing.

Yes I agree lots of good stuff in patch, but the ability to play the game I feel is most important and I feel its still hard to do that.
That why they shouldn't do MEGA patches.

I have to agree with you there, it would have been better if say they introduced a couple of features / fixes per week rather than a big batch of changes after a 2-3 week wait.
But then I havent a clue whats involved in the programing side of EVE so maybe thats not a good idea from a DEVs perspective :)

Programming aspect is all python(game logic) in a C++ wrapper that interfaces with the DX9 code in Trinity.dll. Netclient.dll contains the low-level network code (VERY inefficient implementation...they send full strings for commands, and effects..could have been done in bits instead of KBs), and interfaces to what ties most of it together, Blue.dll.
