Fight for a losing alliance? Plenty of things to do i.e. trying to survive. You have tried destruction in EvE, why not try construction? Destroying takes seconds, building a vision takes months. ----------------

Originally by: R31D RP is probably the only way to go, but it won't help me that much. It'll just add an extra twist to whatever I do. I've tried most things in EVE and anything else I can think of won't keep me going for more than a week or two (e.g. something silly like you suggested. It'd be fun but it'd bore me quickly).

Well that's a tall order considering that I don't know you or your likes, dislikes, interests, etc. What may be a blast to me may sound completely boring to you. But here's a few things that would interest me if I didn't have anything better to do...
-Go on a journey of exploration and look up and visit all of the weird, unknown, legendary, historic. etc. places in the universe.
-See how many of EVE's most wanted you can find and take out.
-Find genuinly good people/corps that are struggling and be a mysterious benefactor and help them along as covertly as possible.
-Conversly, find the real bad guys and corps and covertly sabotage them at every opportunity.
-Hunt down hidden caches and ships in space. There's a motherload of stuff floating around out there. Someone recently discovered a bunch of fully fitted battleships and barges not too long ago.
I'm sure if you put your mind to it and used a little imagination you'd think of something that'd spark your interest.

go to hageken and find someone with a navy raven doing gone berserk or whatever mission is ~100km from the gate put a cloak on your bs have a corpmate take a rookie ship and steal his loot he will kill the ship and take the loot back (flag himself) get the raven into structure and ask him to leave the ship for insurance+extra or kill him if he refuses
repeat until your corp has enough navy ravens
fit them with rocket launchers and take part in hippokings cerb competition
fit the cerb and ravens for gank and suicide on your fav freighter :P

Please, this is the internet. There are no "real people" here
Start training up every race's Tech 1 frigs, then go out into lowsec/0.0 and see what you can do (best with friends.) It's a load of fun and really cheap ________________________________________________

Originally by: R31D I've tried PvP in big alliances. I've tried piracy. I've tried missions. I've tried mining (only fun when your group-mining with friends tbh). What's left for me in EVE? What else is there for me to do?
Logging in there's not much left for me other than friends I've made ingame. Any suggestionson on what will make me want to log in again?
A 1-3 month break.
Works everytime for me.

QFT.
Whenever I have gotten bored with EVE, I have simply taken a break. Sometimes a week, sometimes a month, sometimes more. And then I get sucked back in.
Haven't taken a break in like a year though now

BTW, sometimes it doesn't hurt to play more than one MMO. I play EQ2 semi actively and I also play the ultimate MMO, called IRL occassionally :) I don't feel like all my eggs are in one basket.

Yup.
The only way to guarantee long term playing is taking a big break every year.
Don't try and force the fun because you will only get frustrated.
And hurry up and come back home ;)

I've done this in the past but it is a lot harder than it sounds, trust me

Trying the smaller PvP corp atm and both are about the same fun-wise atm. Only difference is that if you get blobbed in a small corp, you don't have enough corpmates to help out
