Is there a Banking system in EvE's economy?
Is it possible to deposit money with a corp and get an interest? Or loan money and pay back with interest? Is there a law enforcement system to ensure such deals are honoured?
How similar is EvE's economy compared to the real world?
Thanks for answering!

No banking economy in the sense you mean. Corps can have taxes which effect only certain types of income - but other than that its just free for all cash transfers by those with access to the accounts.
There are corps who sell shares in their corp then pay out to those shares on a monthly basis - but that is as close as it gets to "banking". At least in your context. - The Customer is ALWAYS right. - ALL Customers are crazy. [CareBear selling to Pirate Dilema] |

So then how does money get 'printed' in the EvE economy? By NPC mission agents?
And do NPC corps actually affect the economy like buying and selling?
Sorry I may be asking stupid questions but the EvE economy really fascinated me and I'm a novice with the real economy neither!

Have you considered playing the stock game?
Once you get in a good player corp, that uses stock, you can buy a few shares. Every time the corp makes money you get a few ISK, I guess you could consider it intrest. as the corp grows, you can also sell your stocks, to get your money back.
Now for a loan.... Thats a whole nother matter. There are player banks, but I'd approach them like a loan shark. Best bet would be having a player from your corp give you a loan.
Money comes from a few different sources, as well as goes into them... NPCs sell the Books for skills (that absorbs some of it) It gets destroyed when your ship goes up (less of that item available) It also appears when the ship is destroyed w/ insurance (note some is absorbed when you buy ins as well), then it also appears when you do missions.

Not true.
Stock gives you no income share.
It merely lets you see votes and lets you vote.

If that were true then Why was I paid dividens on a stock sale?

Because they chose to give out a dividend.
Income goes to the corp wallet, not to the shares.
Dividends go to the shares from the corp wallet.

What they are trying to say about dividents - is that a corporation command allows you to distribute funds from the corp wallet based on "members" or "shares". Corps that sell shares will distribute "profits" to the "shares" and if you own some - your wallet gets your cut added into it.

Eve Intergalactic Bank seems to be on the level, easy to use, etc. I've got an account with them, as do many others, and I've been satisfied so far.
Just something to look at.

New players often get "free" ships and kit when they join a player corp for the first time. Its usually a mining ship and they are "encouraged" to corp mine. This helps them pay back the corp for their ship. That's fine and fair. And group mining when you start out is what many players have done.
You might find mining a bit boring so perhaps you prefer to go mission whoring. The money isn't as reliable as mining, but you'll get some good loot from time to time as well as combat practice.
Earning is about as close to banking as eve gets. And I don't know any banks in the real world where they lend you money if you're not earning, or studying to earn. ;-)
