It is what it is. I am trudging along. Just need to get over the thought that I can come up with all the answers and get into to talk with someone. My battle with Crohn's is just one facet of the cascade. I will get through it. If not for anything else, my 2 year old daughter makes everything worth while. Well, just typing that out catalyzed me. I will call the recommended therapist once they open.
As for the Custodial Engineer vs the janitor w/ a boiler's license; I would chose janitor w/ a boiler's license. The first time I heard custodial engineer, as a child, I kind of felt that it was condescending. Not sure why, it was a visceral reaction that I can not explain.

I was once offered a job as a guide/Japanese interpreter/deck hand on my friend's sport fishing boat in Guam. Here's the lifestyle: During the day you take Japanese tourists out saltwater trolling and/or dolphin sighting. Make sashimi for everybody out of one of the small tuna you catch. Sell the rest of the fish at the wholesale market, except one. That one you take to the beach bar. Put it on the grill outside, sit inside in the air conditioning, drink cold ones, b.s. with the regulars until it's cooked. On full moon nights when the fish are active, go out to the deep water, bottom fish, drink beer, sleep on the boat.
But I made one of those stupid decisions that change your life forever. Turned that job down and became an immigration attorney instead. |

I smell Social Security Office lol.
I know because after I got out of the academy 16 years ago I was working part time for a small town's police department and full time for a security company that had a federal government (General Services Administration) contract. Worked at the various building including the DEA office, the Border Patrol office, and so forth. Some people didn't understand when i told them I graduated from an academy but was working security, they didn't understand that Federal security jobs pay way better than your average mall cop gig lol.
Would grab overtime when I could and one of those OT gigs was at a Social Security Administration office. OMG it was so Ghetto in that lobby it wasn't even funny lol. The places I worked weren't that bad, but when i finally got on full time with a police department, I ran as fast as I could lol. |

Khergit Deserters wrote:I was once offered a job as a guide/Japanese interpreter/deck hand on my friend's sport fishing boat in Guam. Here's the lifestyle: During the day you take Japanese tourists out saltwater trolling and/or dolphin sighting. Make sashimi for everybody out of one of the small tuna you catch. Sell the rest of the fish at the wholesale market, except one. That one you take to the beach bar. Put it on the grill outside, sit inside in the air conditioning, drink cold ones, b.s. with the regulars until your huge, fresh fish is nicely cooked. If you're a rogue type, then you go to the disco or the tourist area and pick up hot Japanese tourist girls (not very hard to do at all). On full moon nights when the fish are active, go out to the deep water, bottom fish, look at the stars and think deep thoughts, sleep on the boat. Sell your catch for good dollars. But I made one of those stupid decisions that change your life forever. Turned that job down and ended up as an immigration attorney in New York City instead.

As for the program, that's "Have I got News For You" a quiz which switches hosts about as often as the average person switches clothes. I think mr. Blessed was host for maybe 6 or so episodes. |

Forgive my ignorance I do not know who he is, but I remember watching him and as an artist I remember sounds and patterns very well. Even though he has aged at the end when he started to shout and gesture, memories of watching him in that ridiculous costume flooded my brain, and it just made me happy that I recognized him. I couldn't even remember the character he played and frantically googled "Flash Gordon winged man." Sure enough, SAME DUDE! True story.

Yes a few things actually, but one in particular, which as you should understand, I can't exactly talk about it.
Planned launch is currently set as 2015 for that one, primarily targeting Melanoma (but with a LOT of additional indications being investigated).
From what we've seen in updates from Clinical trials it may well turn out to be quite amazing. |

I think that outside the UK, he's not a particularly well known person, unless you follow comedy fairly closely. He's played a large number of roles, and has a rather extravagant style, that you recognised from Prince Vultan. Brian Blessed's Wikipage He also played King Richard in Black Adder. |

I can confirm that. Once when I heaved in the classroom, I'd skipped breakfast and what came out was just bright green liquid and a giant ball of green apple Big Mouth bubble gum. Man, that was embarrassing-- caught red-handed as a gum swallower. I don't think remembering that now will send me into therapy, but no guarantees. |
