This tutorial will show you how to put your own music into the jukebox.
Step 1.) First go into your eve-online folder. C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE now go into the folder called res
Step 2.) Now make a new folder inside of res folder called Sound go into the Sound Folder and make a new folder called Music spell excatly as you see it spelled here.
Step 3.) Now make a folder somewhere out of the way and name it Evesongs
Step 4.) Now copy all of the mp3's that you want to play in eve jukebox into the Evesongs folder.
Step 5.) Now in the Evesongs folder go to Tools->Options->View and make sure that the Hide filename extensions is UNCHECKED!
Step 6.)Now rename file extension of every mp3 from .mp3 to .ogg
Step 7.) Now download this program
http://www.scherbenet.de/eve-online/evepg_install. exe run the application drag the mp3's you renamed into the white top box of the program and point it to the C:\Program Files\CCP\Eve folder make sure that you set the megs to 15 and click start. And your done.. if you dont want these songs anymore and you want to go back to the original soundtrack delete the folders you made in the res folder

You arent modifying any game files at all... your just adding folders and music.. the program automaitcally searches the folders you created before reading the soundStuff file

Your account is stored at eve's servers.. this has nothing to do with that. the music you hear is from your computer that was installed when you installed the game... Not from your eve account!

Step 5.) Now in the Evesongs folder go to Tools->Options->View and make sure that the Hide filename extensions is UNCHECKED!

...or the preferred method.
START --> RUN CMD CD [Folder Drag] REN *.mp3 *.ogg
Where I wrote [Folder Drag] you just drag your folder with your files in it directly to the DOS window before you press ENTER.
Note that if your folder is not on the C: drive, you also have to change the drive by typing the drive letter and a colon first thing when the DOS window opens up:
D:
If it is on the D drive for instance.

You could be installing keyloggers, troyan horse programs, account grabbers, remote access, rootkits and whatnot. --*=*=*-- Megadon CCP wanted a well known artist and celebrity to test the new font so it's approval would be well known. They got Ray |

Edited by: Lardarz B''stard on 21/04/2006 21:46:48 This method has been around for years and AFAIK no one has been told off for it yet. You don't need any exe file to do it though
