Gentlemen!
WeÆve seen a number of high roller lotteries lately, rewarding the more experienced crowd with BPOs and other goodies and I feel that the time has come to give the newer crowd a chance to grab a piece of the pie. If you are confident that you are able to gather a few million isk together but that shiny battleship still seems an evading dream, then this is your chance to speed up the process!

Details:
- 3 x T1 Battleships of your choice will be given away to the lucky three of you, who pick the winning tickets.
- In order to give a chance to more people to participate the number of tickets per player is limited to 3.
- Total of 120 tickets will be issued.
- Raffle will take place in an ingame chat channel X-Trinity within 24 hours from the moment the last ticket is paid for.
- Random generator will be used to pick the winning trio.

Trinity was one of my prior nicknames, which was taken and I apologize for any inconvenience. I have participated in your contests myself and I believe yours are designed for a more experienced eve players with preferences for higher stakes.

Whats the matter XTrinity couldnt come up with an original idea? Youve stolen the lottery idea from me you a-hole. Weird how ive had a few successful lotteries in the past week which was totally original then you try your hand at it. My lotteries charge the same 3 mill and i give away 6 ships at a time. Try something original next time instead of stealing other peoples ideas.

No comment to the sore loser whose lotteries I haven't seen once in this forum in the past "few weeks". Assuming you have successful lotteries, which, looking at your numbers, you don't, It saddens me to see that you can't handle competition in any other way but by flaming. You are not the first one to invent a lottery, kid... get on with it. Your post is reported.
I am watching this thing like a HAWK from now on, people, no hijacking will be tolerated!  If you are not interested - move on! There are plenty of others who will play the game without ruining it for others.

So here's the thing. I spoke to a few of you in game and it seems that the interest is not as high at this ticket price level so the lottery has stretched longer than anticipated. First of all I will refer you to my first post once again, where I specified in great detail about how the draw will be handled. Please read it very carefully one more time. To reiterate: I will record in video format my last words in draw chat channel, following by the number generation and the declaration of the completed draw. Using fraps does not mean you are genuine. I can combine a frabs video with a random number generator in one side and a video of eve in the other, all in the same screen, and fake either of them. Faking static sections in fraps is not that hard.

Assuming that I have nothing better to do than ruin my own business I'll give you that, everything is possible. So at some level, there is definitely a trust component to this. However, here's something better:
What I will do is ask everyone, who is interested to see the video to send me their email addresses ingame, so the moment the draw takes place the video will be emailed. This will allow no time for any potential alteration. Also, to show that the Windows part of the recording was not fake, I'll record the completion of the draw by posting on this thread, which will serve as a timestamp.

If it were me running this lottery, I would have frapsed the random number generator to get the winning tickets, post with an alt for the winning ticket number(s), and then edit the fraps after the lottery is done to include me posting the winners list. Then I would re-encode with a slightly blurry codec to prevent people checking splices.
Then I would say to the eve public "Oh My, here is the random number generator running while I edit my post, so you know I have not been scamming"

You are completely ignoring all the logical explanations and defaming this venture and I'm tired of it. You see it taking "a few minutes" at best when I clearly state that recording will be capturing last timestamped words, one draw, immediate forum post, and back to timestamped chat. This is done in SECONDS my friend, not minutes, and immediately emailed. There IS no time. Literally.

I'm sorry you got sucked into this. I think he gets a kick out of accusing people of doing what he does for living in eve. I will not disclose my main because this is a side project that has nothing to do with my corporation and I intend to keep it this way.
Anyone "known" doing this does not change anything about the draw being fair and hardly there's a character known and trusted by everyone. Plus, any person can have preferences, while a true and openly shown system cannot.
I am set on the draw structure and if you, or anyone, find the risk of a scam is present, which I assure you it is not, send me an eve-mail and I will refund your ISK in full.

If you want, what you can do is this.
tickets 1-120 get allocated. Give tickets 121-240 to those listed in order who have purchased tickets 1-120, and so on until you hit the magic 600 number. That gives you 600 tickets, and all you do is look up the last 3 digits of any public lottery and allocate prizes to them. If the number is above 600, then the drawing is ingored and the next drawing counts.
Thats how you make yourself unaccuasable for picking numbers. Now, all the risk is wether you will pay up or not, and that is for you to convince the eve public that you are an alt that is trustworthy, givin my points above.

I have to admit, I did take this too close at first, but mostly because I put alot of work into this and instead of suggestions you prefer accusations. Don't play with my words and put your little pins in there, I don't choose the harder alternative.
