Looking for a Mega t2 425mm railgun setup. Close range not sniping with a steady tank and average DPS if possible. Solo setup aswell and a group setup is needed :)
I was thinking:
7 x 425mm II
1 x ?
2 x Sensor booster II
1 x tracking computer II
1 x 20km Scram
2 x Adaptive nano II
2 x Mag Stab II
1 x Tracking enhancer II
1 x Large rep II
1 x 1600mm steel II
Not sure how that would fair for powergrid etc.

U will need a webby if u want to hit something close range with 425mm

That does not look like its even close to fitting with regards to PG or CPU.

No chance your getting good dps,steady tank or anything like that with 425's, if your going to be "close range" fit 350's they have alot less range but only around 4-5% less dps.

7 425mm II's alone will drain the cap quite fast, with a LARU running, you cap will be dead very fast.

Yeah, fitting those rails will likely require 1-2 RCUs depending on your skills, and may require a CPU booster as well.

7x t2 425
2 sensor booster, 2 tracking comp,
3 dmg mod, 1 tracking enhancer, 1 med rep, 2x what ever
is common setup and fits
with introduction of t2 ammo people are throwing out the 2x tracking comps in favour of eiter more sensor boosters or some sort of ew

I think theres only one sensible answer here, DONT go close range with rails. It just doesnt work, if you want short range go with blasters.

I'm bored of blasters tho!
Waiting till they unnerf them and will be able to fit on a decent tank aswell as t2 ions.
Hence playing aobut with rails.

How can you not tank decently with just ions fitted?
I've got a somewhat nice tank and I always equip Neutrons.
