All the members of my corp left EVE, and I want to take the CEO position so I can steal all the money they left.
Is it possible for me to be CEO with these demographics?
I'm Gallente with two others 1 Amarr 6 Minmatar 12 Caldari

if they are really gone, and you have 1 share, you should be able to call a vote to take down the CEO, thats if it is 51% of votes cast, or 51% of all votes (shares)... otherwise you'd have to have 51% of all shares to vote out the CEO, not sure which way it is. If you have no shares, I dont think its possible. Also, how do you know they really all left Eve? they may be back and pretty upset if you revolted and took over the corporation, especially just to take what was left.

Yea, they're gone for good... most were FPS guys and I'm suprised they lasted as long as they did.
I don't know if I can train ethnic relations high enough to allow me to start a vote, or how the skill actually works. Anyone?

If they are actually gone and there are no members are in the corp except for you, then it doesn't matter what level of ethnic relations you have as you're now a one-man corp.

Here's my thought, if there's 19 of 22 that aren't my race then I need to train up skills to allow 100 members then ethnic relations to lvl 1.
Then can I start a CEO vote and get past this "you don't have enough skills to start a vote" thing?

Try petitioning the GM's, they might be able to help you out.

Yeah contacting a gm might be ur best bet if u are still a member but have no shares, they will prolly look into it if the corp is indeed a dead one.

I have shares, I just can't start a vote.
What skills do I need to run for CEO if my race counts for 3 of 22 members?

ethnic relations
Skill at operating multiracial corporations. Extra 20% corporation members of other race than CEO allowed per skill level. Percentage is based on CEO's corporation management skills, not the number of people in the corporation.
Note: the CEO must update his corporation through the corporation user interface before the skill takes effect.
corporation management
Basic corporation operation. +10 corporation members allowed per level.
Notice: the CEO must update his corporation through the corporation user interface before the skill takes effect
This comes to following.
1. You are gallante 2. There is 12+6+1+3 members = 22 3. Percentage of non gallante members is = 20/22*100 = ~91%
Which means that in skill wise you need:
1. Corporation Management lvl3 2. Ethnical Relations lvl5

I'd be surprised if Ethnic Relations counted at all. I was under the impression that a new CEO can be above their maximum rating for total members on takeover - you just can't recruit until the numbers go below your maximum ability. If so, shouldn't Ethnic Relations work in the same way?

That is... if he can even accept new members.
Sounds like a f****d up situation that requires a GM.

Thank you for the answers, looks like I've got a bunch of time to waste on corp management skills that I'll not use in the future.
My whole situation stinks. My corp came over from Planetside and 15 of us were playing 23/7 for a solid three months, then for reasons that are still unclear they all canceled within 3 days of eachother and went back. Out of 22 people it's me and one other guy that's left, so I figure we'll split the corp wallet and be on our way.
I blame CCP for making this game so cool that I canceled the SOE subscription after playing EVE for a week

You do not need any skills at all - the limits that govern a corporations size and ethnic makeup only change when you update the corp to your skills from the Corporation window, as CEO. I know this to be a fact, as I am now the CEO of a corp, with only corp management 2 and ethnic 1, which is mostly not-my-race, and has over 30 members. ---:::---

It would be interesting to know then whether:
a) You can continue to recruit up to the abilities governed by the previous CEO or,
b) You can retain your current membership but are unable to recruit until membership drops below your current abilities and,
c) Whether you are actually able to update the skills list with skills unable to match current membership and if so, whether that prompts you to start ejecting characters (which seems entirely unlikely).

Err.... Have you checked ?
Looks like you are already CEO. Since you are a director as well, you can already access the corp wallet.

I'm CEO of a fairly large corp, My skills are still training up to the level where I can run it on my own skills.
For now the corp acts as I have the skills of my former CEO, I can recruit and do anything I want, exept stealing my corp members' money I think (wouldn't dream of doing that tbh).
The problem starts when you want to update the corp with your skills, make sure you do this only after you have sufficient skills or kick out the sleeping members first.
(this is an alt post BTW)
