Famine Aligher'ri	Posted - 2006.04.23 02:58:00 - [8] Just to give you some more info on picking named items. Being some arn't that good yet others are. When picking named items and buying them. You want equal or greater value to tech II of that same item type. The closer the obviously more expensive it is. Some things to also look for is the CPU/PG fittings of a named item that's similar or equal to tech II or other stats like Cap costs, Activation Times, Range, Falloff, and any other modifier that might be less/greater than tech II or equal. Mostly I look to named items when I want to save on certain stats. Like for example one of my favs being the "Hypnos ECM I Multispec Jammer". It's equal to the tech II version in strength but less CPU and less cap per cycle than the tech II version. Yet in most regions can be found cheaper than tech II module of that named item. This is a good and in-expensive module. Other named items can be very costly to put into just standard/basic setups. Then again, risk vs reward =)
