ShadowStrike	Posted - 2006.04.23 01:14:00 - [1] when i do missions in my battleship, i lot cans with tractor beams as i kill ships, but sometimes, i kill ships too fast (i don`t have time to reach F6 that the ship is gone) and the next gun shoot at one of my can as its the next locked item since i have to lock them to use my tractor beams on them, well, a single shot from a single gun is enough to kill a can, even if the can is really close, like in looting range it happened to me a few times, not dramatic, but still, somewhat frustrating to lose loots this way would it be possible to increase the hitpoints of these cans so they can at least withstand a few shots? ½½selling Falcon, Lachesis, Eris & Flycatcher ships++ ~~~~~~~~~~(click here for prices)~~~~~~~~~

Slow down and do something properly instead of asking for an easy button to make up for your inadequacies?

Lefia	Posted - 2006.04.23 03:13:00 - [6] No, can HPs are fine where they are. Having such low Hps makes them easy to destroy when cleaning up crappy loot cans. If you want to stop killing cans, learn how many guns you need to destroy stuff. You don't have to alpha strike every frig you come across. If I could tell the interface to always make cans targets 4/5 I would, or if it would auto-select hostiles over cans that would be nice. Overcoming the interface's shortcomings shouldn't be considered one and the same with skill.

But what really got me was the fact that if i had targetted and fired upon part of the complex structure or the other gang members I would have had a warning telling me not to do it and there would have been no bother. I target and hit my gang members can , (ok it was a stoopid thing to do but it can be done by accident with the list of targets in overview flitting up and down the list), and with no warning I get instant death from above. I tried to petition the fact that I should have had a warning, but predictably this was to no avail. I guess Idiots like me just have to swallow the loss when it happens and move on but it does not make me feel any happier about it .

Also advanced drone wrangling esperience if you mix logistics & scout as scout like to go shoot at what the shield drones are healing when their targets die. However the number of shield drones lost to people who blindly fire at anything they autotargetted can get annoying. Many a teamspeak moment of: Me: "Dude, STOP SHOOTING MY DRONES" Them: "Huh? Oh crap, sorry" Drone: AIEEEE pop
