Simples
Introduce skillable ship attributes
There is alot of ships in eve that no one really bothers with, then u have those ships that are very popular, however most ppl have a resonable idea how these ships perform and are or will be fitted, making pvp , lets say a little predictable or stale even.
lets imagine ccp introduced skills for every ship in game and another sub set to allow you to "skill up" x amount of a ships attributes.
now the amount of attributes per ship is about 30 atm and im not suggesting we should be able to skill up all of them.
maybe just 5 but u can decide which 5
For me this would completly alter alot of aspects of the game, not only for solo or small group but for large fleet warfare as well , it may also entice more ppl to become engaged in the pvp aspects of the game ,
Yes you still know its a drake on the gate or belt but you wont have a clue what hes modified on it, --- makes for very interesting encounters across the whole spectrum of eve warfare. |

atm the way things are is, u train a class of ship, u buy a ship and u fit modules to ure ship,
and for most ships , most ppl will know to some level of accuracy how that ship will be fitted or more-so how it will perform.
if u were able to train up indiviual ships by modifying the ships base attributes ( lets say 5 attributes max) then this would then make ure ship very less predicable and such boosting pvp

I think he wants to introduce XP grinding for ships, that allows you to level up their attributes. |
