I walked through the coridoors of the X-Sense Refinery, the Jovian architecture giving the impression of both enormous size yet comfortable intimacy. The cleaning drones scuttle past, bleeping intermittently. Despite this there is a calm here, after the madness of Saisio, there is some comfort in that.
My steps are heavy, much like my soul as of late. I have tried to meditate but to little avail. Something seems wrong. It feel as my heart has been ripped from it's cavity and hurled out of a gravitic trash disposal. Osmeden is only a few dozen or so jumps from Saisio but it feels like my people are on the other side of the galaxy.
A few hundred civilians followed me here, Scientists, Researchers, Monks and men and women of varying professions and skills. The Iteron of Jacq d'Luna snuck into Caldari space and removed all of those who believed in what I stood for or felt otherwise persecuted by the state forces. It comes as a small comfort to know that at least a small portion of my nation was not so set on becoming assimilated and giving their soul for the 'good of the state'. Their company lessens the homesickness.
What happens now I am unsure, I will attempt to assist Krysalis in their endeavours, hopefully finding some way to occupy my mind in the economic expansion they plan. They do not ask for the removal of my individuality in return for my service, they simply ask me to give what I can, say what I wish and be who I want to be. I can ask for nothing more.
I enter my hangar. A young Achur child runs up to me
'Miss Onamori, I made you this, to remind you of home'
It is a crude clay model of Saisio III, with it's distinctive continent layout and blue-green hue. I choke back a tear.
'Thank you little one, I will treasure it always' - - - - - - -

It's remarkable that people don't realize they'll have to actually leave things behind when they leave a place. I blame society.

Spare me your snide remarks and tired cliches.
If you have nothing of worth to say, then keep your spiked tongue to yourself. I do not claim to ask for my 'cake' as you so eloquenty and intelligently put it, I expressed my sorrow at leaving my homeland and my people. Whether that decision was a result of my actions or in some way pushed upon me is a matter for the individual to decide upon. Many have their opinions of me and are welcome to them.
I hope that when you are beset by grief you receive such sympathy. - - - - - - -

Why do you feel the need to bare your soul to all of us? Don't you consider any of this information personal?
Or do you actually get something by sharing your innermost thoughts with the general population? -------- Tom Thumb > for a nut case you rawk [04:21:15] Mebrithiel Ju'wien > Nik's bio 4tw btw [07:38:53] Graelyn > Nikolai for Dev 108!

I'm glad someone is able to take some comfort in this station, at least, even of the bittersweet kind.
This place creeps me out. We haven't even seen any Jovians yet - for all I know, there may not even be any of them at the station at all - but the place still feels...strange.
Anyway, I hope we'll both feel more at home here eventually, Naoko. If there's anything you'd like me to help you with, don't be afraid to ask. I'd tell you to drop by my quarters or hangars at any time, but I've grown more fond of locks and security codes since moving here, so if you do decide to drop by, please give me a call in advance. You never know.

My word, it's the big scary Caldari boys ganging up on a poor broken Achura girl.
I hope you gain some small satisfaction from your pathetic mewling and infantile taunting. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Well Vankaalen isn't particularly big, and he's certainly not scary.

Reality to Jacq this is a big scary universe ganging up on anyone except the luckiest beings.
I don't shed a public tear about having no real home, if others shed a tear it is their thing and when doing this public and others get ****ed about it and use it as angle to bully said person, that's human nature. ******************** Those without a tribe can only keep their word.

What can I say? She's made it this hard for herself. I can't say her words are particulary poignant, just the laments of an exile.

I can understand your feelings. Take comfort and solace in your new local community. It is all I had when I first ventured away from my home...
Though quite some time has passed... I can say that I do still miss it, even though the Light of Truth shelters me and provides me with warmth.

Ms Onamori, the choice between one's people and what one feels they must do is always an onerous one, even if you feel that by leaving now you can help your people in the long run.
Do not be dissuaded by detractors and those looking just to chastise you for making your own choices, but think upon the advice given by those wishing to enlighten you. Sometimes, it might be best to keep your own reasons to yourself as there are clearly those who would wish to use such things against you.
Do not ever forget you are your own woman, and you should bow and sc*****to no-one.
