Assassin 2	Posted - 2006.04.24 08:52:00 - [1] Edited by: Assassin 2 on 24/04/2006 08:52:39 CCP. im starting to get annoyed with the constant sig removals, as far as i can tell my sigs aswell as many others now fit into the correct dimensions of forum signatures, will you stop removing them? it takes me ages to create new ones and then you guys come and swipe it off the forums moaning about kb size. its a sad story. loads of people spend their own time creating sigs for forum experience and even if they are inside the correct dimensions you now REMOVE THEM FOR KB SIZE, i might aswell have a 10x10 dot as my sig. www.eve-files.com/media/corp/Doom/new_make_sig_webby.jpg[/img] Please resize image to a maximum of 400 x 120, not exceeding 24000 kbs, ty - Cortes

I know it's not what you want to hear, but your sig is over 3 times the allowed kb size. Mine was removed too, so I followed the instructions and reduced the jpeg quality - it looks the same (albeit slightly smaller) and is now within the forum limits - it's been left alone since.

Chribba	Posted - 2006.04.24 09:00:00 - [4] Not to beat down on your sig or anything, but a signature on 80KB (your current) is a pain for users on slower links. Imagine opening a thread where all 30 posts on that page has a 50KB signature, first it's 50KB for the page alone, then 30*50KB for everyones signature. So it sums up to like 1,5MB just for viewing one page. I can handle it, I know others can too, but them 512KBit DSL customers dun like it - and yes they have the option to disable signatures but should they be forced to that or spend 1 minute loading the page just because people want to use 200KB signatures? imo not. Assassin 2	Posted - 2006.04.24 09:18:00 - [15] rgr thanks guys - helped me a lot lol im not an expert with photoshop i used a quick tutorial on how to make them and not how to lower quality and up the quality etc - many thanks And as for this post it does not reflect my corporation, and therefore there is no need to include my corporation in my posts. But if you wish to complain contact my CEO and tell him why you have complained.

Mods stop acting up mun, yes its good you have a rappor with us, but come on! breaking the rules yourself isnt allowed. The rules regarding forum signatures are very simple: Signature graphics may only contain your character name, corporation logo, corporation or personal slogan or other text that is directly related to your in-game persona, or content directly related to EVE Online. All content must be in good taste. The size limits for signature graphics are as follows: * Maximum height: 120 pixels * Maximum width: 400 pixels * Maximum file size: 24,000 bytes (not kbytes) If you can't adhere to the above rules regarding your signature in content or size then it will be removed. As and when we come across a signature that breaks these rules we remove them also.
