Hello, All! Just thought I would share my experimental Amarr cam feed:
http://www.twitch.tv/leanemasing
Feel free to give constructive feedback.
I'm going to let the feed continue tonight while I have my (mostly) 90s rock playlist going.
Right now my internet disconnects like crazy when I upload, so I apologize in advance if/when my client disconnects.
Enjoy!
P.S. Sorry if this was not the correct place to post this. |

Amarr seems rather quiet right now.
Interesting how most people just warp from the dock rather than a bookmarked safe exit. |

Your stream seems to be offline. I do like the idea though. But to be constructive; How are you planning on keeping it up and running? I mean streaming in High Def all day will take up a lot of your computers resources, not to mention your bandwidth. If you're running this cam from your regular use computer at home, then it won't last/work. Perhaps if you run it from a second computer that you won't use for anything else (i.e a spare computer). |

90s rock? For Amarr? Oh good Heavens, no!
You want Delerium, Dead Can Dance or Enigma. Pretty much anything they do is appropriate.
For more narrow margins, you could easily throw in the Passion album, or if you want to go darker there is always a few select classics that you could chose from, as well as a few good bands and select pieces.
Save the 90s rock for the Gallente.

Quite right, It'll be very difficult for me to keep the stream going all the time when Tranquility is up and running. I was thinking I might have it going at night when I'm asleep and during the day when I'm a work to see how it goes. Of course that would mean that the stream would be down during the peak hours for players in the US. My city is a candidate for Google Fiber, so perhaps that will make it more feasible bandwidth-wise if we end up having it.
Eventually the next stage would be to get a group of people together that were willing to stream for a couple of hours a day in shifts. It would be cool if we could have a site with links for different channels for each trade hub, HED-GP, alliance staging systems, battle sites, etc...
As far as the music goes, 90s rock just happens to be what 60% of my music is. I have an album by E.S. Posthumus that would work well for Amarr, but people would probably get tired of hearing it in a loop. |

The feed is up again! It is now 0400 UTC on March 12, and I'll keep the feed going for as long as my connection holds up. Hopefully it will last until downtime, but I make no promises! |
