Recently I tried to download 'EVE Skill Monitor' from eve-i.com but apparently the website is no longer(not sure how long just came back to eve)
I have seen some posts of Excel sheets where you enter in your Attributes, any Basic/Advanced learning you have complete, current SP, required and it will calculate time etc.
What I am wondering is if there is a program being used in replacement of EVE Skill Monitor which lists all skills so one can select multiple skills and tally up total time, taking into consideration your base attributes and Basic/Advanced training.
Thanks everyone

Lets you get the total time for multiple levels of the same skill but does't let you do multiple skills in one go.
Closest I've seen tho.

You'll be looking for the EVE Character Manager and EVE Management Suite :)
Install Guide can be found here.
Any comments feel free to post on our forums.

Edited by: Nailt on 25/04/2006 20:33:02 works great, had a couple minor problems with the 'invalid login' but found the solution on your page *thumbs up*
edit: the best part of the whole program to me personally (being very new in relation to many of you) is clicking a skill to learn and it showing you all the prereq's when you queue it up <3

In my expereince ECM doesn't work that way. It only shows the immediate prereq.
So if you double click a skill which needs Science V and you have no science skill at all, all that is queued is Science V and the skill you double clicked, it doesn't queue Science I-IV.

Check out the for a list of all the Eve Master Database which has a page detailing the prereqs for all the current EVE skills. It will tell you how long any skill will take and on the ships tab it will show you how long it will take you to train towards a particular ship taking into account your existing skills and the remaining skills.

It actually queues I-V in one item in the queue. There is the option to split it into its individual levels if you so wish :) ___

Also, don't confuse having the skill for a ship equalling the ability to actually hop into that ship. For example, to train the Exhumer skill you don't need to have any mining barge skills, but to actually fly an exhumer you need Mining Barge V.
The EMD is useful for information but the formulas for training times are so horribly broken is almost useless in that respect. Those are some overly complex formulas that don't even work well :(. I went through a fixed a few to experiement and got closer to an actual number, but didn't feel like going through and fixing every formula :P
On initial inspection, ECM/EMS looks good

Follow-up: Been using EMS/ECM for two months now and it's absolutely fantastic. it allows you to plan out your training in detail and export the information in various formats. It has the complete EVE database for skills, etc so you can read the info in-program. "What if" scenarios allow you to simulate buying implants, etc. Absolutely fantastic. Well worth the download. Puts EMD to shame.
