Hello Everyone,
We have recently integrated several tools that we built for our personal use into a new public website. We hope that they will be of use to the general public.
The site URL is http://www.evealliance.com
Some of the tools include: ===========================
- Jump Map - The jump map allows you to see all the systms within X jumps of the starting system specified. The systems returned are color coded based on the security of each system. The search can be limited to only return systems within the same region as the starting system or all systems. This tool is excellent for setting up buy orders that only cover secured systems
- POS Configuration Tool - This tool allows you to outfit a POS with any equipment you want. The tool shows you in realtime the impact the equipment changes have on power, CPU, and fuel usage. Once configured you can save the POS configuration and use the POS manager to track when the station will require refueling. When saving you can specify the system and moon location of the POS, the fuel on hand int he tower and the fuel on hand in storage.
- POS Manager - This tool shows you all of your saved POS configurations and lets you know when you will need to refuel the station.
- Market Upload Tool - This tool allows users to upload market data from eve directly into our database for use in our other tools.
- Market Summary Tool - This tool shows the average price of market items such as minerals game wide. The tool also shows the regional averages for those regions there is data for.
- Market Detail Tool - This tool shows detailed buy and sell orders taken from the market data you have uploaded to your account. Potentially, this tool allows you to see trade routes across regions which can be highly profitable.
We have setup a forum on the site where users can report bugs, request features, request new tools, or just converse.
If you find the site useful, leave us some feedback in our forums, tell your freinds, and if you feel like it, give this forum post a bump!
Thanks!

Kinda on and off topic, anyone know where and if the tool that allowed you to upload your own music into the eve jukebox is still available?
Used to use it when I first started playing EVE in like 2003, but reformated a LONG time ago, lost the programme then never bothered looking for it again.

The notice is that the publisher is unknown. I am using a freeware JAVA applet for the upload page. The applet has been thoroughly tested and is safe. You simply have to allow your system to use the applet when prompted

Is there a way to make the POS management information available to corpies to update and view? Or perhaps one or two corpies to update and the rest view?

Probably the easiest way to make it so a corpmate could use the POS tool is to make a general log in for the corp and give account info to people you want.

This is under development right now. We are creating a special "corp signup" that creates a user group. the creator of this group can then authorize other members to join this group. Entries in the POS tool will then be flaggable as CORP or Private.
In the interim, Yellow Planets suggestion will work :) Thanks for the suggestion!

Per user requests, we have updated the Market Summary tool so login is no longer required. The login is not needed as no data is modified so the user ID was irrelevant.
Thanks and keep the suggestions coming!

We have removed the login requirement for the Jump Map tool and also added a new tool per user request called Region Map.
The region map tool shows all the systems in a selected region organized by constallation. The results can be limited using a minimum and maximum security filter. This is a useful tool for finding potential pirate hunting areas, mining areas, or POS locations.
The number of planets, moons, astroid belts, and stations per system is also shown along with a constellation map.
Enjoy and keep the suggestions coming!

We have updated the DB code to improve the speed of all of the tools.
We have a lot of people uploading market data now but the more data we get the more accurate the tools are. We put the market tool up for the eve public but remember you guys are the ones keeping it up to date so keep those files coming in.
Thanks, Basil

The Mobile Laboratory and the various Assembly Arrays have been added to the POS configuration database and can now be used from within the tool.
Enjoy! Basil

Just letting you know :) In the Regional map you got Orus listed as Nimedaz constellation & Panoumid listed as Orus & Ravin listed as Panoumid etc...
Tendrara is listed as Ravin and below it Tendrara is correct as Tendrara.
But I'm sure you will fix it, so it is a great site congratz. :)
Her si a good map of EVE that might help, AFAIK there is no direct link to it anymore.EVE Map from CCP Website, not the same as the linked one on the front page.
Do what you want to EVE, as long as nothing fun is taken away and anything new is fun.
