Edited by: Hipex on 25/04/2006 00:22:38 I petition in game under exploit to get my ship back (I got blown up in warp and was told I could get it back). The GM comes back (like 20 minutes later, 20minutes of lollygagging around in my safe spot) and says to me I need to file it under other. I go back and file it under "Other". I get the reply back and type up a nicely detailed report, everything's filled out perfectly. I click submit and BAM!!!
I was slapped in the face with a "URL Error
HTTP Error 500: Internal Server Error" after submitting that big fancy report..
What's up?

<sigh>
It is a BUG to be blown up in warp, but bugs happen. This is why I petitioned.

Edited by: SoIid on 25/04/2006 01:43:20 Tech support is a old fairytale told by many , there is no such place or such thing in the Eve Universe. The old timers speak about it alot when they gather around a fire and speak of the Good Old days, but thats about it for the most part.

It's as known issue and being investigated. Rest assured in the knowledge that the report was submitted and received.

kieron, while i understand things take time, my last petition took almost two weeks to be investigated, and for the same reason i dont hold out much hope for the latest one that i submitted.
i remember days when support was far above the levels it seems to have dropped to, when "a response within 24hrs" actually meant that [which i have noticed has been dropped from the automatic replies now].
while i do understand that the game is going from strength to strength and the increasing number of players only adds to the problem, i would have expected the number of support staff to have increased proportionally as well.
it must be well known that a GM can only physically investigate so many problems per day, otherwise there would never be any estimates as to the time it would take to clear the backlog (as there havc been in the past when devs have had to step in, in order to help clear the backlog). i do see this as helping the situation, it also delays other tasks, which imo are more important.
i may be wrong, but :(
