Semi Noobe Question
I got a ship built for me by an agent for mining. But it is located very far out from my central working area. How do I get this ship to a central location w/out leaving my good ship way out there? Can I book passage or exit to pod and zoom there? I've been trashing my basic ships when I get whacked, so have none to strand way out there. 'cause I could not sell them, they became problematic.

Just buy a shuttle. Fly out there, and pick up the ship. Leave the shuttle. It's a 6k isk cost for a new ship, I think it's a fair loss.

and if ur lucky you can sell it there for almost the same amount.
if not then put up a sell order ... i know, i'm tight-fisted as hell :D

Or, if you got the hold, tke it with you back.. its "only" 500 m3 for a packed shuttle

excecutioner/slasher fitted with a mwd, cap recharger and nanos.
3+km/s - much faster than shuttle and only a little more expensive, plus much bigger cargohold.
i use it to pick up equipment for ships, very handy where it's small enough to fit in 135m3 so no point using a more expensive and slower hauler.

Except the frig will have such a small capacitor it can't cross longish systems in one warp, thus the shuttle will end up being faster.

shuttle is best for new pilots. Personally i use stiletto to pick up equipment and shuttle to pick up ships. Don't forget that a ceptor can do 600+ base speed and also warps at 13 au/s, so both afk and manual travelling it's faster than a shuttle.
