Eve messages has no group addresing and have a a lenght limit. So when you have more then 5 persons in corp, and want to send a longer corp message you are up for looots of copy and paste.
I have told all corp memebers to create normal off- game eamils.Thats only way i see.
Or maybe i dont know something, maybe there is a way of communicating comfortably with many corp members?
Please share you experiences poeple, the copy and paste thing has driven me crazy:)

As Pesonnel Officer I get a lot of people messaging me to join etc, so have long list. I get the flashing box on the eve mail icon - but when you go in it is a nightmare to find who has and has not sent messages. I know you can click on a person, and you get the number of mesages from several on list (no not all - I have to jump about clicking on quite a few before they are all shown), still it if very cumbersome.
At least 'applications' now list in a logcal way.

I prefer the new layout, but on my system at least it's almost impossible to see who's sent you a new message. You get the little numbers, but as soon as I scroll they disappear - and as the full list won't fit on the screen even if I expand it as far as it will go I'm sure I'll be missing messages.
A similar thing happened before the patch, where I would be getting the flashing icon but not actually see the message appear for a few hours or a day - as well as seeing messages I'd deleted months ago mysteriously reappear as new ones.
Best way to have comms is to setup an out-of-game forum and try to make sure people visit it regularly. I'm toying with the idea of doing a snitz mod to let people get some basic functionality in-game too. Just e-mail is OK, but messy and new people are likely to have difficulty following old threads of conversation, even if you have an archive.

Rust & Athule, you are actually both experiencing the same problem. I had the same problem myself. Its stupid, but, you have too many evemails. Delete as many as you can, and it will fix itself.

Easiest way to communicate long messages to your Corp is via an in game Blog. Works for us and it's very easy to set up.

I send out a weekly corp newsletter using the "sorp. message" feature. This sends out an evemail to all members of the corp. Many times, I have to break the newsletter unto 2 or more mass evemails to get around the mail character limit problem. I suggest you write your evemail out in wordpad and then copy and paste it into Evemail. Of course, you would have to have Eve running in windowed mode. Another thing to consider is to post your newsletter on a corp. based website whereby you can send the link to your corp members.
Hope this helps.

Yep, I try to and it fixes it (not usually straight away for me though) but they just keep on coming...it's like bailing out a sinking boat with a thimble, especially as most of the message I delete just reappear in a day or two :-(
