Very old news. Oh, and all conspiracy theories can be debunked by high school physics.
The flag moved because of basic physics. A flag coiled up in a box has a considerable amount of potential energy. When that flag is released, the energy is released, and the flag will oscillate. In addition, gravity still applies on the moon, and will pull down the flag.
The reason the flag didn't fall down is because they used a rod to prop it up, because otherwise it wouldn't have been straight due to the lack of air.
If you doubt there were men on the moon, point a telescope at the Apollo landing sites and try to explain why there's a reflection (from the foil-covered lander they left on the moon).

Another common argument is that the Van Allen radiation belt would kill the astronauts on the way to the moon. Conspiracy theorists state that the belts have a radiation dose of 2500 rads, easily killing a man.
What they ignore: That's 2500 rads per year and the astronauts were in it for probably half an hour.

actually, the flag moved because the flagpole they used was a bit springy and wobled left to right when they planted it :P the fact that there is no atmosphere and thus no friction caused it to woble a lot longer than it would on earth :P
doesn't detract from the fact that these conspiracy theorists really need to take a basic physics class :P
edit: zomg it was just lego :(

Yes I've seen one of these movies on the Discovery Channel of all places, and every point could be easily debunked with some high school physics and common sense. The fact that people buy into this I think shows just how rare an actual understanding of concepts is these days. Everyone knows a bunch of facts and numbers, few people understand the meaning and concepts behind them.
Not meant as an insult to anyone, it's really the education system's fault (yes, almost everyone's education systems).

The flag was moving because the astronauts were holding it = movement.

This conspiracy theory is a textbook example of bad science.
What's bad science?
Coming up with a premise that you want to prove, and ignoring ALL data that would work to contradicting it.
Add to that a complete lack of understanding of optics, physics, and common freaking sense, and you have some mildly smart sounding people saying some really, really stupid crap.
