I'm planning to use TeamSpeak Overlay. I'm just wondering if I can run into any problems with CCP since it is technically a 3rd party program.

TS: Doesn't change the client TSO: Changes the client.
Your bet? --*=*=*-- Megadon CCP wanted a well known artist and celebrity to test the new font so it's approval would be well known. They got Ray |

TSO doesn't change the EVE-client/files, however it's a hook into TS & DX9. Normally it would be considered an exploit if it gave you an unfair advantage / abusing game mechanism. In this case TS will bee the "unfair advantage".
TS doesn't change the EVE-client, it may give you an unfair advantage. However it's debatable wether a communication package should be classified as an exploit/unfair advantage.
In any case - if it's something that should be banned it must be TS, since it allows the usage of TSO. TSO is worthless without TS.
I think you're pretty safe using it. ;)

the real question is does it work in full screen mode and not just in window mode? -------------------------- After being cloned over forty times I found that my looks get better and better. I am no one but a mouse in a house of cats.

It doesn't modify the client, so its probably allowed.

Heh, good points :-)

Yeah, this was my main concern. I'm afraid of CCP using some lame way of checking for third party programs and then *whamm* getting hit by the ban-stick for something innocent.

I'm not disagreeing with your conclusion, just your logic. Mining macros dont modify the client either.

you have to run teamspeak overlay in alternate direct x mode, in its options for it to work in fullscreen.
However does TSdisplay work with eve? I'm trying it right now, but no luck

http://www.schmads.com/software.htm for the Logitech G15 plugin.
As for this whole thing about it not being alright.. I have heard of many many people using it, and even suggesting it on the forums and they are all fine. This program is completely fine to use, that goes for the TSO and the G15 Plugin too, as it doesn't really give you a direct advantage in the game over anyone else, just lets you know whos talking.

Macros are also covered in a different part of the TOS/EULA.
