I've read the FAQ and it's quite ambiguous so I couldn't figure out what's the answer to the following 2 questions:
1. Say, I create 2 jump clones: TRAIN for training with implants, PVP for PvP with no implants. I understand that if I get podded with PVP I don't lose any implants. But what if I get podded with TRAIN? Do I lose the implants?
2. Is it possible to create a jump clone which has no implants if I already have implants? ie. if I create a clone now as I have implants, will the clone be implantless?

1. Yup, of course you lose the implants.
2. Sure.
The implants aren't duplicated when you make the clone.

When your pod gets destroyed, you lose everything currently on you. If you have implants on you at the time they are destroyed, if you dont then they are safe.
Note that other "clones" are not affected by this. If your implants are in a clone thats safely back in a starbase they are not affected.
Jump Clones by default do not have anything assosiated with them, no implants. The way you generate a jump clone with implants is by clone jumping. This leaves your old body with implants as a jump clone at the station you jump out of. NOTE: You can only have 1 jump clone at a given station, so dont try to clone jump out of a station that already has a jump clone present unless your willing to destroy the older jump clone and everything with it (including implants).

If you activate training with a clone that has implants, does it continue training with that clone's implant bonus if you switch over to a non-implanted clone?

Edited by: Libertina on 25/04/2006 16:12:40 There seems to be quite some misunderstandings about the differences of clones and jumpclones and how the later get implants.
Your normal medical clone is what it always was, it hasn't changed. You keep it upgraded and at a station you like, and if you die, you will wake up there, nowhere else, no matter if and how many jumpclones you have.
Jumpclones have nothing to do with getting killed, you can not chose to wake up in one when you die either. You install a jumpclone somewhere you can (standings by station owner towards your corp needed). It will have no implants, you can't install any, it is nothing but an anchor for you to jump into. To do so, go somewhere else, and jump to your 'anchor'. By doing so, you leave a NEW jumpclone behind at the station you jumped from. This new one will be a copy of your current self with all the implants you had at the time you jumped. After 24h you can jump back to it, again, leaving behind your current self with implants if you decided to buy any in the meantime.

You have to stop training before jumping.
