Hi,
I have been npcing (0.0) for most of my eve life with only a small stint in lvl 2 missions. It averages 20mil or so in bounties every couple hours. However 0.0 is a dangerous place, the entries from empire -> 0.0 are often camped and roaming pvpers and gangs will probably pass through. Is it more profitable to work upto lvl 4s and run them? How much money do lvl 4s make?

Mission payout (with level 4 skills) - 2-3m on big missions.
Bounties on said big missions - 10-20m.
Time to complete big missions - An hour, sometimes two?
Plus you get loyalty point rewards. My skills/agent give me around 7k for these particular big missions. 15k = a +3 implant, so let's say this is 15 million.
Add it all up. Then add random rewards/important rewards. (armored warfare mindlink, skirmish warfare mindlink, +4 implants are all important rewardss...and good ones)
And you've got cash.
I also run courier missions, because frankly I find some of the combat missions to be grating on my nerves...those pay 5klp and 1.5m for a 4-5 jump haul of 40-70k m3 load. Which is nothing with a freighter.

i average around 10-14mil an hour on l4 missions if you count bounty+loot ,when you take into account LP offers and the odd implant from importaint missions its probably a fair bit higher.
obviously certain missions you can net around 25mil in 30-40mins

For a good lvl4 cashin run you have to find a good lvl 4 agent (i have bout 8 actives lvl4 agent). Lets say, qual 16 and up in 0.5 secured space (the less secure the system, the more payout you get). I have 1 of those and with 2 of my connection skills books at lvl 5 he gave me 8.6kLP on big mission + a max of 4.2 millions in reward-bonus. Those same big mission gives me bout 10-15 millions per hours in pure bounty without taking loot and LP in the equation. Yes, mission runner is a very worthy job.. *counting my billions*

Depends i think, If you count the time it takes you to get a good quality lv agent then isk per hour npcing is better
Missions in empire are alot safer tho. But also when NPC'ing in 0.0 you can log whenever and not worry rewards/ missions respawning.
I find 0.0 ratting much easier because sometimes i cant find 2 hours to do a mission. just log on kill a few BS's and log off, 10 mins play and 2-3 mil plus loot.
The real reward for missions is the lp, grind out a decent amount and you have some top rewards,
guess it depends on how you play

So in fact after a nice sunday morning with two cups of coffee, a sweet breakfast with orange juice and a lot of "shooting at things fun" (this is what I love most in Eve) I can go and buy myself that Deimos I lust for such a long time now?
