I don't know why the OP uses them, but I use Vexors to kill travelling hulks on gates, decent range and damage while being able to tank gateguns till CONCORD shuts you down. What ship would you suggest to use for gate ganking? |

You can't use a catalyst to (successfully) gank a hulk in range of gate-guns. Any more topics you clearly know nothing about but still want to comment on?

a) Switch into a catalyst
b) Follow that Hulk to where he wants to mine
c) Gank him in a belt

If you are -10, the Catalyst is the most efficient ganking ship. If you are not -10 and do not intend to ever be, the Vexor is. Talos or Tornado are best when ISK is less of an issue, and the Thrasher and Moa are the other ganking ships of note.

Just because he ganks hulks on a gate doesn't mean he only ganks hulks on a gate. You've committed a very basic logical fallacy.
To explain this to you, since you are struggling:
1) You sit on a gate in your Vexor to gank haulers
2) You happen to spot a poorly tanked Hulk
3) You blap it, because why not?
Your version:
