This is a chart to help newbies understanding the various classes of ships. http://www.eve-files.com/media/0604/Ship_Classes.jpg I was overwhelmed by the variety and classes of ships I see on the market, so I did some research, and charted the ships on the market according to size, function and tech level. I love to look at other ships while I travel in space, I will always wonder what they are, what they do, how much they cost to own, and dream one day I may pilot one. Any comments?

GC13	Posted - 2006.04.27 01:00:00 - [5] Very, very sweet. My only recommendation would be to dig deeper and sort the T1 frigates and cruisers into groups like EW, assault, etc... I mean, they should be obvious, but it's just nice for visual reference. All in all an awesome piece of work though, both for information and visual appeal. applauds --- New to Eve? Now that I've been playing for some time, I realised there are variations to ships, and their specs are impressive too. I wonder how I can fit them into this chart! I can't wait to update this chart with the new Kali ships, waiting patiently for Tier2 BattleCruisers and Tier3 BattleShips...

Great job, and I think it will help young people with choosing ships Now in poster format Some typos: #1: It's a Hawk, not a Mawk. #2: Assault is spelled with an 'a', and not like Assult. #3: It's a Cerberus, not a Cerebus. #4: It's a Basilisk, not a Basilish. #5: It's a Leviathan, not a Levithan. #6: It's a Naglfar, not a Nagflar. #7: If you put all titles in capital letters, "Titan" should go in caps too. I love the idea of a ship that isn't aligned horizontally, parallel with the engines/forward motion of the ship. Plus that thing is huge!
