If I go to a safespot and then cloak, am I right to think I am invlunerable until I decloak? Is there any way I can be killed in such a situation?

If someone knows where your safespot is, they can warp to your general vicinity and bust your cloak or smartbomb the area. Its not invulnerability, but its not too far from it.

If you make a fresh safespot and cloak there before anyone could possibly start scanning for you, yes you're pretty much invunerable.

err how would one know if you in his/her general vicinity when your cloaked? and i dont think someone would SmartBomb a whole gird if needed just to get lucky and decloak you. realisticly it is invulnerable imo.

how can someone know you are in their vicinity when you are cloaked? hehe :)

You are practically invulnerable if you make that fresh safespot, move to some direction and cloak in there.
Trust me, using an old SS for that might get expensive..

Cloak
Make a new SS
Set yourself heading in some vertical direction at max velocity
Chances of you ever being caught are near-0 as someone would not only have to happen to have the exact same safe, but also be out at an up/down velocity from it, and then manage to get within 2500m of you, or fire a smartbomb at the exact time they're near you.
In short, you'll be fine.
