Was wandering what would be better to use for ratting(battleships will be there) in my raven.I am using 4 siege and 2 neavy just now as its all the siege i can fit because of my shield tank.I will have my cruise book on in 1d 12h so with all the bonuses u get for cruise with the raven would i be better using 6 cruise than 4 siege and 2 heavy(cruise if they fit).Is the damage done from a torp a whole lot more than a cruise thanks in abvance for the replies guys.

My current set up is
high
4 x siege launchers
2 x heavy launchers
2 x tractor beams
med
1 x t2 large shield booster
shield boost amp
2 x t2 thermal hardener
1 x t2 kinetic(its guristas im ratting)
1 x t2 cap recharger
low
3 x t2 pdu
2 x t2 bcu
(should i put in warp core stabs) thanks again.

Im asuming its for tops to kill the basttleships if so doesnt the cruise launchers lauch torps as wel i always thought they did if it is so then use cruise launchers with torp missiles..

For the launching of cruise missiles. Can also fit torpedoes.
Thats what it says in the item database so i would stick on 6 cruise i dont think they as cap heavy for fitting(but i could be wrong).

Cruse launchers hare way easier on your pg/cpu go with them they are very very good missiles and by the way it looks might very well boost your dps

Cruise Launchers used to be able to launch Torpedoes, but since the Missile Overhaul (months ago), we need a different launcher for each size of missiles ...

ok so for missions lvl3 your best bet is 6 cruise launchers on a raven.

Since you're supposed to be using this ship for ratting, i'd go 6x siege for 0.0 ratting, and rely on a set of 125mms and medium drones to take care of the small fry. 6x sieege will make mincemeat out of NPC battleships and battlecruisers, while still dealling enough hurt to cruisers to make them noticeable.

1. Toss the second thermal hardener, fit a second Kinetic. If you're hunting Guristas, they deal mainly Kinetic damage (they spam missiles) and some Thermal. That Invulv II wouldn't help you much, since you couldn't care less what EM and Exp resistance you have, could be 0% on both and it wouldn't make a difference. With T1 hardeners your resists are: Kin - 85%, Ther - 60% which should have you taking about 29.45 DPS from the top asteroid Guristas BS (Dread Guristas Massacrer)
