I get this " Mini dump generated " message about 1 in 3 times upon starting up eve. It has been occuring since 934, and i'm really unsure of what to do. Have anyone else experinced this problem ? It says mini dump "" and asks if I would like to take a look at what was generated, answering yes or no does nothing and the game won't start up, so I have to reinstall and re-patch it everytime....
If you have a solution or want to know more about what is going on (exact file names etc.) plz email me at [email protected]

= It did it again, it's a real pain, cause now I have to uninstall the game, install it, then patch, and re-configure all my settings etc.
Here's the thing that pops up:
Title: I had a minor issue :/
Text inside: MiniDump generated in C:\Games\EVE\logs\#crashb1217 2003.09.19 12.31.11.dmp Do you want to take a look at this?
Options: Yes or No (To Looking At It) Both Yes and No do nothing but close the dialog box...
Any chance tech support could take a look at this and possibly help me out here... ?

you might want to too look at what it says. More than likely you have a hardware problem, and eve dosn't like it.

It's a Virus, Win32.pnf I think, I had the same problem, a little screen with I had a minor issue :/ in the title
Run virus scan, or find a fix for win32.pnf(i think that's the right name) It's a virius that infects exes on your computer, and incedently, causes eve to not start up ================================== Milk, milk, lemonade! Round the corner, chocolate's made! |

I have the same problem, trying to run EVE under WinME. It's not a virus. I've scanned multiple times using F-Prot that CCP recommends, even got the newest demo version of it off their website. (the free one). I've even scanned the eve.exe file and EVE game directory specifically. Nothing... no viruses :P
SOoooooooooooo unless CCP wants to specifically come and give us a fix for this particular virus, or provide some other solution, looks like the virus theory is out. Unless F-Prot can't find it, but it should, especially with the most recent versions of virus definition files (i think the date on them was earlier in September).
I also tried reinstalling EVE from scratch, and patching manually. Nothing, didn't work, same problems.
