some days ago I bought some shiny mining drones. The auction was focused on fun and so should the mining. We decided to do a public mining in Yulai this Sunday (2006-04-30) from 14:00 eve time to about 19:00 eve time. All mined ores will be sold in Jita to the local marked and the winnings will be spend on skillbooks for newbies, which will be given out on monday (2006-05-01) in Todaki / Kisogo to new players.
Everybody is welcome to join the mining and if you don't have a wardec, you can join also our gang. Maybe we can also manage to get a public TS running for this and have a nice time.
You are free to contribute your ore to the skillbook fund or just mine for your own. If we are not in Yulai, the belts are empty and we have moved to Kemerk.

p.s.: looking to see all of those recently "disbanded" alliances there - at least it was a slogan from the earlier days of eve: When we fail, we will mine Veldspar in Yulai (Yulai was the major trade hub)

Turned out pretty nicely. Starting in Yulai with barges and ending up in Amarr using frig, barge, inty, Navy Mega and a dread
Without a doubt a memorable night.

The mining was a blast, worth every ISK I spent. We had a cool laught, great ships (my covetor really sucked against the other ships) and tons of fun - at least as much fun you can have with 4 people mining.
Only backdraw was that I felt very nubbish on TS when getting only about 40% of the english conservations. But I'll improve myself on this part. Maybe I should drink less next time.

I had the time for it today. We mined minerals for 17 mio, so I bought 10 sets of basic skills (each 32). But sadly it seems that nobody really wanted them. I need to spam local 3-4 times only to convince a guy to take one of them :-(. 7 sets are still left, but I will try it again in a few days.
But beside this, it was an outstanding event. If Chribba ever sells his miningskills again, I will bid again for it, or at least try to take part on it. If not Chribba does it, I think I still would bid for mining with certain other peoples
