I don't know if TomB will see this, but in case he does I'd like to thank him for all the hard work and hard (!) interaction with players over the past-patch cycles.
So many changes, followed by so many posts here replying to our (er, your) suggestions, followed by changes in response to said suggestions. Repeat.
And all while maintaining focus on actual, fair *balance* and resisting the moaners complaining about their ridiculous stacking loadouts and such that he has corrected.
It's tough on all these boards for the Devs--we don't make it easy--and in some cases that's deserved (well, generally not for devs). TomB has had to request civility a few times in the past few weeks, but kept at it despite a few unconstructive whinings.
I *don't* contribute to those discussions. I want modules and ships to be fair and balanced even if it means correcting some crazy stackings or loadouts, but I don't have a lot of insights to provide. But I *do* appreciate TomB's interaction with you all.
Thanks TomB.

Aye, I think he did a great job ignoring the not so good posts and listening to the well thought-out ones. Muchos Gracias, TomB, the game got alot more usable content thanks to you.

Yes, all changes are quite good, expept this tiny little thing with nanofibers not giving any (noticeable) bonus for any ship.
But apart from this little (hopefully fixed soon ) thingy a very good job indeed

I agree, he did a great job, and it wasn't easy -

Too bad the stacking problem has barely been changed at all.

With all the problems we have had in this patch, its kind of easy to forget to give credit where credit is due.
I'd like to thank TomB for setting up those sticky posts, keeping us informed of the changes and involving the players in it. Given the number of flames that were posted in those threads, I won't blame you if you don't do it again. But it would be nice if you did --------------------------- (c) Copyright Saladin, 2005.
