Its a VERY fun game!
I got the CE when it first came out, so I've played it a lot!
And dude, rule of thumb, always let the wife win! New player experience, more highsec PvE missions, casual play, balance, counters to AFK cloaking, expanding the NEX store, and Power Projection.

not enough ways to send people to the black circle. "CCP is changing policy, and has asked that we discontinue the bonus credit program after November 7th. So until then, enjoy a super-bonus of 1B Blink Credit for each 60-day GTC you buy!"

No sex for you tonight! Also, it's a lose/lose situation playing a board game with your girlfriend/wife since if you win, well.. pretty self explanatory, but if you lose she will think it's deliberate and be just as pissed. |

I brought it to a board games club and played it with friends. We didn't like it much :(
I think that there's not enough decision-making in the game. You just roll the dice and go with it, and sometimes play a card on someone else |

Biggest problem:
It can be a very long game. Mostly because other people keep stealing your points, and making you lose points.
Still fun though. Steve Ronuken for CSM 9! https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=4236322

You poor unfortunate people and your unhealthy relationships. I can ROFLstomp my girlfriend at any board game, and she doesn't get all pissy about it. But that would be *IF* I manage to win. She usually mops the floor with me. That moment when you realize the crazy lady with all the cats was right... |

I haven't so much as looked at it yet, but my kids keep asking me to play it with them. Do you think it would be fun (and appropriate) for kids?

The Game is Designed around showing you the choices you make in life have a effect. I do not see this as being bad for kids. But more a learning lesson. Nothing in this game is offensive or pushing Drugs or alcohol onto a child. But It depends on the childs age also. The Three penalty cards are Stage 1: alcohol, Stage 2, Weed, Stage 3 Coke. So unless they are old enough to know about that stuff. Say depending on your country, went thru the D.A.R.E. Program. That is parents choice. Overall the game is fun. Nothing in the game is Shock worthy or crossed the line in my opinion. I have a 8 year old son named Phoenix and a 7 month old daughter named Melody. I would have no problem. But it all depends on how open as a parent you yourself are. It also depends on how sheltered you keep your kids. My son knows there are bad things out there. I regulate what he sees. You yourself are the parent it is your decision. But theres a lot worse things out there in N.Y. for him to witness. New yorkers are also known for being alot more blunt lol. |
