ones from missions can be after expending tons of ammo on the structure. the fuctional ones cant and in 1.0-.5 will trigger the cops.

there was a bug on the test server once where you could blow up any celestial object, like stations, roids, stargates, etc
funny it has been detected, it took a while and there was a slight chance that the bug made it to TQ :)

I remember when I heard about that bug on SISI. People were destroying gates, stations, whatnot! I think I was in FCC though when the station got popped but didn't bother to log in.
Now I miss SISI with the 100 ISK Armageddons and Bloodclaw light missiles.

it's a stargate in a mission, you can see another celestial object from the mission there.
Also, notice no sentries and no billboard.
I don't have a sig :(

Tons of ammo??? Few heavys and a couple of volleys with the 720's...

No actually i believe that was taken on Test server when there was that bug where you can destroy objects such as stations and stargates etc.. the FFA station was taken out pretty quickly

There is a Level3 storyline mission in which you have to destroy a Gallente stargate in the 3rd stage. Looks like that one.
I got a hit for over 770 from that with an Ion II
