Is there a guide somewhere that explains these ebil ships?
I trained and I trained and was so happy to finally get my interdictor. So I run off to 0.0 as happy as can be, sat on a gate for about 10 minutes when a target jumped in from another gate. I dropped my sphere perfectly in line from that gate and moved just a little bit out of center. With no problems at all he warped right thru the bubble and jumped out of the gate I was guarding on an insta. The second time I attempted to pull someone out of warp the EXACT same thing happened. WTF? Does the bubble have to be deployed before the target ship gets into warp ( from wherever ) they are?
!! HELP !!

Those spheres are bugged. Then dont work sometimes. and you should deploy them when you are 0m from gate.

From what I've read they cannot be used to pull ships out of warp, only to prevent ships from warping. Not 100% sure if this is correct hopefully someone else will confirm.

From what i have noticed the bubble wont stop someone from warping if they have already activated the warp drive. so, if they start going to warp and you drop a bubble on them, it doesnt stop them, and if they are in warp, then you drop the bubble, it wont pull them out of warp. I could be wrong, but this is what it seems like. -------------------------------------------------

Fairly sure interdictor bubbles do not have the "catcher" effect that regular warp bubbles do.
And yes, they do not affect people who are already beginning to warp before the bubble is dropped.

Kinda sucks that interdictors don't actually interdict...
Originally by: Dark Shikari Istvaan Shogaatsu's ego, when combined with a veldspar asteroid, would create 500 titans. Too bad he's never mined.

Here's a few pointers:- Your bubble must be deployed before your victim starts warp. This applies also if their destination is within your affected area; if you drop a bubble at gate X after somebody has started a warp towards it, they will get through.
- Place the bubble near the center of the gate if you're camping, this way it'll catch people coming through the gate as well as those that are warping to it
- Don't ever use a sphere with any other type of warp disruption device (another sphere, mobile warp disruptor) or they'll disrupt one another and stop working.
- Bubbles don't work "midwarp"
- There are various techniques you can use when trying to ensnare a hostile force ... The best one you use is to start your warp and then deploy the bubble, if there's a lot going on you'll escape (if you jump in solo then you've probably just thrown away a good ship
)
