Weekly Lottery 133 Shares of R2R (133 Million Isk buy back).
The lotto will be based off the Missouri Lottery drawing each Wednesday night 18:45 EVE TIME.

We will use the drawings of the game Lotto which is a pick 6 numbers. Do to oursize here in Eve we will use the first 4 numbers picked in any order you choose them.
The numbers to choose from are 1-44.
If there isnt a winning number the pot will roll over to the following Wednesday night drawing.
All ties will be split between the lucky holder's of the winning numbers.
Drawing Deadline will be 20:00 eve time each Wednesday. This will be determined via time stamp of the eve mail. If submitted after cutoff time your number will be a valid number for the following weeks drawing.
The draw is done at 18:45 every Saturday. All Claims to the winning must present via EVE Mail SUBJECT Winner to verify the numbers and winning status. Cut off to claim the winning number is Friday 20:00 eve time.
Each play is 1,000,000 isk. A play is one set of 4 numbers.
Next drawing will be this Wednesday 3rd 23:45 Eve Time. To see the winning numbers Visit www.molottery.com

Just want to see if I understand this properly--everyone picks a set of 4 numbers, and if those match the first 4 numbers of the missouri lottery, you win?
That means an odds of 1 in 3748096... or about 4 trillion ISK to you before there's a payout. Or am I misunderstanding how this works?

I think your figures are wrong its 4 number in any order. The pot will roll over. Now I dont expect it to go to 4 trillion but I am taking 5% for adminstrative fees. The rest goes to the pot for the next drawing.

I have change the number on this alittle it was pointed out to me the odds were a bit high. I was looking at my probablity wrong. Game will be pick 6 number and if you have 4 out of 6 you are a winner. This should change the odds to 1/14500.

Perhaps edit the OP to clarify the rules? Something like, "send 1M to char XXXX, with 'reason' field having 6 different numbers from 1 to 44", and include example like "5, 12, 22, 26, 31, 44".
Then more about maths. If we are to pick 6 numbers, and win (or tie for win) if any 4 of them match to any 4 of the 6 lottery numbers, then the chances are 1 in 335 (at least their page claims so.
If we are to pick only 4 numbers (though you seem to refer a play being one set of 6 numbers), and win if they match any 4 of the 6 numbers of the lottery, then the chances should be: 6/44*5/43*4/42*3/41 = 1/9050.
In your earlier thread you used system of players picking 4 numbers to match 4 smallest numbers of the 6 lotto numbers. Math to calculate odds for that are beyond my skills, but it is quite much worse than the previous 1/9050.
Of course in theory odds shouldn't matter since the pot rolls over. But if we assume you get 100 participants each round, might take some 1.5 years before we should expect someone to get the pot (which would by then be 12k shares of R2R?).
So, seems you get to run the lotto for pretty long, with ever increasing jackpot.

I must appologize because I play the lottery irl and watch the balls fall down. I didnt realize when looking at the or using the lottery sight that it shows them in lowest to highest number.
I am looking at other lotto and pick 4 games to use now. Thanks so much for I totaly overlooked this. I am wanting it to be a fair and fun game for all to play.
