Looking good.
Have to say that out of the Tier 3 cncept art the Minmatar ship does look the best. The Gallente one is just pig ugly!!

Great wallpapers.
However, progressive JPEGs are BAAAAD, mmkay?
Just use regular JPEGs, or preferably PNGs.

Very nice! I like the simple all black background the most. The all black background make the ship itself more of a feature.

Did the artist give you permission to take and edit his work?
Afaik they havent been released by CCP yet so did you even think to ask the guy before cutting his images up and making sigs/wallpapers with them?

Well if Asgeir Jon Asgeirsson (ie "the guy") has any issues, he can post in these forums or his web-site and let us know (or a forum mod or dev could post on his behalf). In that event, I'm sure we'd all do the right thing and promptly remove the "offending" images. Considering that we are using Asgeir's excellent art-work in the context of only the Eve-Online forums, I can't imagine that we'd be offending him.

thx for the advice.. im not using jpeg very often.. iŠll may add png (mostly working with tiff/eps...)

thx pwyle, that would be about my answer. in the end its just a private purpose within the eve-community and its my way to pay respect to the designer and his artwork.

(just yell and ill remove the pix from the forums and use it on my own desktop exclusively )

Are you allowed to take his work, modify it as you see fit, and not credit him with the original? Seems like copywrite infringement to me.

i have credited ccp games on the wallpapers, but i guess the concept is under the designers rights, so i mentioned him on the new caldari wallpapers iŠve made and will do so on the minnie ones too.
additionally iŠve mailed the designer and awaiting his answer.
i did not want to make this that complicated but i dont want to **** anyone off either.

Great work, how did you cut out the EVE logo?
cause it seems a bit grainy, like it was cut out with magic wand with a wrong setting...

yea nearly right.. cut by color.. i think i have to redo that 
just added a few more styles and colors based on the same composition...

I think that the Megathron sucked all the coolness potential out of the Gallente Battleship fleet. There was only a little left for the Dominix and none at all for the new one...

well, after the first shock  i kinda like even the gallente one.. somehow looks like a massive sensor-(dampening)-platform  .. although im not sure if i want to fly it ;)

The idea is a nice one, but a few points to realise;
1) The font you have used is pretty nasty. The EVE fonts tend to be regularly sized and spaced.
2) The EVE logo, it needs to be pure white. Where ever you have taken it from, or whatever compression youa re using is introducig artifacts which ruin the clean lines taht you would want from an EVE background.
3) Is the glow around the ships really needed? I may be wrong on this one, but I would imagine they look cleaner without it.
