I once saw a parking ticket thing (the iron stick wich you put your coins in) it was number 666. On the other side of the fence right next to it. The closest plant i saw was named 'tear of jesus'. Coincidence? uhh.. yes

the "number of the beast" has (as much as is known from archeology at least) to do with sumerian numbering.
6 and 1 having roughly the same symbolical meaning.
so, 116, 616, 111, 666, being about the same thing really.
the same could be said according to some, aboutthe number 0, since according to scholars, they only had seven numbers 0-6, giving the 0 an actual meaning and attributing 0 and 6 roughly the same meaning.
As always with very old history, there are cloudy subjects.
Sumerians had a very mysticism-oriented society.

By the way, there exists evidence for one interesting story:
A king of one of the hills (something-suptra), saw that a flood was coming, built levvys(sp?) that eventually was failing, so he commandeered a barge, loaded it with as much trade-goods and live-stock he could and waited for the province to be flooded, killing much of the population in the process.
The barge sailed off out into sea, and eventually stranded it in another province of the land.

a) 1 full jettison can of pyroxeres moved into giant secure cans will get u 666 ore in last can
