Jamming has nothing to do with movement.

Basicly it's like a turret gun.You want to at your optimal as much as possible if possible. This increases your chance of module/modules jamming.Sometimes this is hard to apply depending on what your engaging and all that.Though if you were trying to get the best possible use of ecm optimal is where it's at.

I think hes talking tactically - If you got sensor jammed at that range would you continue to approach or disengage.
Well I think thats what he means...

argh guess my questions worded stupidly..
If I was to approach someone that was 50km away.. and I got jammed by ECCM ( multispec/whatever ).. Would I still approacah that guy?

djNME EDIT: so if your the one jammed moving back out and in would help.Trying to get him into a cycle or two and then mwd back could do the trick. At least it would make the ship jam you less.
Thats not what I mean
But.. Thanks

Afaik you approach/orbit/keep at range targets on your overview, not targets you have locked.
So I'm pretty sure you will still approach your target if he jams you.
