You guys from ccp nearly messed up the complete game with this patch. Don't you have something like quality security. I must really say that the quality of the patch 1217 is ****. I am really ****ed of that.
Why you mess up things that already worked fine.
-- My folders in places evertime got screwed up when i log in again.
-- The bookmarks don't sort well as before
-- Drag&Drop of bookmarks make them removed completely sometimes.
-- Cancel order on my wallet don't do anything anymore - worked fine before.
-- Hovering over the journal entries don't show me the comments - worked fine before
-- Hovering over the map is screwed up
-- The ship doesn't spin anymore in the hangar
-- Once i have used the survey scanner the screen navigation is screwed up.
Hope you will fix that soon. |

I really wish people would take the massive whines and *****ings to the patch review forum where this stuff belongs... CCP probably pays more attention to proper posts in there anyway

Check Mr nStuffs posts about 1 week leading upto patch release. Then you'll realise that devs probably don't look at Patch Review.

The post-patch Eve seems like some fantastic Utopia compared to this bug-ridden piece of junk patch.

It's true, devs dont listen, sometimes i wonder if people like TomB actually play. no offense but with the gui errors all over you'd have to login for about say.. 10 minutes max to notice them. I noticed many almost immediately on chaos, almost none were fixed when patched to live. Many are still not fixed. Why?

Because people think Patch Review is seen a lot by devs. It obviously can't be.
We need to start hassling the Polaris bughunters on IRC.
I also need to get Chaos working

as much as you hate it and I hate it... but this is a general chat, and this is about the game that we play. its called eve, and the bugs that are init, are also about the general caht, people need to let off steam, if they dont have a place to blow it off, they will adventully leave... not everyone go to other BBS in this website. so they really want to be seen...
But, I hate to here about the things people dont like about the game. But again, I do get the feeling and I do get more idea of whats wrong...
To bad, nobody say about the good things, like the giant and huge cargo cans are fixed... ATM...
The stupid spinning of the ship in the hanger is finaly fixed... I never did like it.
But, bugs need to be heared. And here or there, DV will get it the idea...

It's simply human nature to focus on the negative. If you went to a restraunt and the food was undercooked, you'd probably complain.
If the food was great, you wouldn't walk up to the waiter and tell him how fantastic your meal was would you? Chances are, you wouldn't, you'd just expect a good meal.
That's how the human mind works, no point in complaining about it. :)

I think this is a symptom of the prefs.ini file not storing preferences. Once it gets fixed, the spinning will come back, but you can just uncheck the "orbit station" option if you don't like it.
