I'd like to know what the hell CCP were thinking last night rebooting the server but giving only 2 minutes warning. I didn't even get chance to dock at a station and will likley of lost (barring the miracle of one of my corp mates hauling) around 1mills worth of ore. I understand that because of the problems causd due to the latest patch it needed doing but 2 minutes warning!? Come on, you cannot seriously expect people to of been able to of finished there business in that amunt of time. The previous nights 10 minutes was short enough. CCP you have got to sort your act out when it comes to customer service. I'm sure I'm not the only person to of lost money last night and you are clearly begining to alienate players. I appreciate the dev's have a hard job but please, in future, how about a little common sense.

Edited by: Halo Jones on 19/09/2003 07:40:49 if it is a 2 minutewarnign, then u have time to warp to planet and log
this will ensure you ship is safefor the down period
but is rather inadequate

But only if you are not busy - if you are in a cruiser fighting 5 warpscrambling cruiser rats ATM it can get tricky.

When the warning came up for me and a mentioned it to the gang I was in several people didn't get the same message for at least 30sec, probably more. This means that they had probably about 1 minute tops to sort themselves out once you take into account reading the message, closing the window, etc. 2 minutes just isn't long enough.

Absoloutley, that was the worst thing. I was warping to a station to dock when it went offline. I just hope that whne I log on after work I'm still in my cruiser.

It now takes my indy more than 2 minutes to turn and go into warp.. so much so that I lost it to incoming missiles after I was already in warp "pre-takeoff" mode. Apparently the maneuverability has been really noifed along with my cpu boosters :( ************************************************ Coming Soon to a Sector near You May be hazardous to your ship so Be Warned! |
