Answering here an in-game message, i will point out the possibilities of making profit out of a titan bpo :
1. in case you do not control a nullsec system where to place a CSAA, you can profit from making copies of this blueprint. A copy takes 16 weeks to make ( or even less if you have access to a caldari-type outpost with upgrades ), and it is sold for around 13.5-14 bil a piece. That means 850-875 mil isk profit per WEEK.
2. if you DO have access to a system where you can place a CSAA, you can use it to build a titan. If you have the BPO's to build the components, the price for the materials cost is somewhere between 45 and 50 bil isk. if you do not have the BPOs for the components, you can acquire the BPC package for around 10 bil isk. That means a total of 60 bil isk for a titan, which you can sell for 85 bil isk. AND THE MANUFACTURING TIME IS ONLY 5 WEEKS ! That means a profit of 5 bil isk a WEEK.

Because comparing one of the most sought after T2 bpo's and a BPO sold by NPC's makes sense. |

I am comparing profit margin for 2 BPOs. Why would that not make sense ?
Take any other BPO ( T2 or NPC ) for that matter... except dread BPOs which are for the moment in high demand because of the oncoming changes and their return is 4% per month ( in case you're making naglfar BPCs ) , it is pretty unlikely you will find one with such a high profit margin.
And ofcourse, you will have to copy and find buyers for 16-19 dread BPCs each month to get to a similar amount. |
