Also stealing assets is fair game in Eve. Had it happen to me once from a guy I let into my corp.

@OP: While I can empathize with your situation, it all sounds like the theft was done within the rules of EVE. CCP recognizes the account, and unless the account was hacked or stolen, it is still a legitimate account regardless of who is at the keyboard at the time.

While I do agree, that the current permission system is crap it's still your own fault if you give people access to important/expensive assets. |

Sounds like he's saying the theft occurred by someone who is not the owner of the account. That's an interesting case, although I'm not sure how that could be proven. I'd say OP is probably out of luck. |
