Ok, Have read alot of posts now, with people complaining about the new mailbox look, how they can see where the new messages are and so on. Maybe im just lucky, but I happen to have a little number in front of the names listed in my mailbox. If the number says 2,well that means u have 2 unread messages from that person. So maybe the new mailbox isnt so stupid after all

and u can drag and drop your buddies in to quick send them msg ...
I was a bit surpised of the new box but, after few hours of use, i find it not so bad.

Well I like it to. I really missed that i could resize the message window. I found it way to small before.

Sounds as though you have a much better version than most of us. I have to click on a character to get number up, though it will show numbers on several characters when I do this. Still I have to click several characters before I see all numbers, and scrolling removes the numers again so I understand.

However if you have a fair few mails in the inbox (I keep a few notes there) and scroll the "people" side of the inbox down then there are no numbers apearing on those people (unless you open one of the messages then it refreshes)

Hmm Rust, plain luck then i suppose. I havent had problems with the numbers at all.

if you scroll the numbers disappear. At least on mine they do.

i like it, its much better,
It still doesnt keep my sent damned items though...!
how hard is it to let me store my sent mail on my pc in my cache folder that is viewable in game so i can see what the hell i sent someone without having to paste it into notepad.

i have heard about this but i have to admit my new eve mail is great i have had no problem i get the number striahgt away, also most all of the other fetures work for me.
seems strange how the same patch acts diffrently on all the diff systems out there.

i dont think it acts much differently at all. u just dont have enough messages to fill the screen, get some mails. scroll. u will see.

I'd like a view which shows all the messages from everyone in one single list (like in Outlook Inbox for example) with options to sort by date, sender, subject etc.
Also Mark All read would be good to have.
But then, I'm probably having a wet dream now..

IMHO, the new evemail interface is a blessing.

The new mail interface looks fine to me. The fact that it says I have a new piece of mail every time even though I open the same one every time is a bit annoying but not big deal. So, I decided to look into it a bit further yesterday and CTD:) I'll try it again today to see if it was just random or truly a bug.

everytime I try to delete stuff I get a weird error message along the lines of "Something bad has happened" and afterwards for every action I attempt, i get a socket closed error, and can restart eve.
