After reading through the essential threads sticky here, I was surprised that no guides to EVE ipo's and stock marketing were listed. Are there any? And if not, I think people could definately benefit from one, especially new players like me. I like the idea of investing my ISK, but I'm really clueless as to how to begin, and how to properly find good investments, safe ones as well.
Any stock gurus out there feel up to the task of whipping up a good guide for us financially clueless people?

try Kaaii's "Kaaii's IPO Guide" thread
also there is movement on the idea of a "market monitor" publication of some sort that will cover IPO's, finances, and trading markets: look at the first steps at the "Trader's Lounge" thread
an exciting time; convo me in-game if you want to talk about IPO's; always an open mind...

Dejas guide to IPO's
Avoid like the plague.
I'm a cynic. In a game that rewards people being absolute bastards and has no ingame mechanic to protect investors I'd steer well clear.

Only invest in stock where you can eshtablish a trust-chain. If you can't do that you are purely doing speculation or a gamble.
You don't have to trust the issuer per se (know him personally) but if you trust someone, who trusts someone, who trusts someone that vouches for the biz. You should be cool :P
