Now right after downtime there aren't that many players online and the laggy is beyond tolerable. I am alone in a 0.0 sector and still getting lagg like crazy.
I suggest you use the money we pay every month for a new pair of proxies and drop the crap u got now.

I did rather have the game down for 4 days with this crap being fixed instead of being forced to play with this lagg crap for 4 days.
God damed think about your customers and potentional customers your losing by this on a daily basis.

has a point. If you want to stay true to your "unsharded" "instance-less" world then make sure your hardware can support it? We not talking about the hardware as it was a year ago (when your playerbase was half what it is now).
Very casual player here but it seems whenever I want to play it's random reboots, lag etc etc.
And I thought Funcom had probs with Anarchy Online....

Same here, no lag before DT today , then after DT, terrible lag in an empty system. Absolutely unplayable

Atleast Anarchy Online runs smooth , probably best mmorpg for lagless enviroment.

It have nothing to do with the number of people connected, after Dt, the lag is terrible with less than 10 K people in . Just check tonite when there is around the double of people in
I had no lag at all before DT , now between the moment you press warp and the moment you warp , there is a 20 secs delay .

Quote: Severe Tranquility Outages (Updated) reported by: Oveur | 2006.05.01 21:41:54
We've spotted a number of possible causes for the outages to Tranquility the last three days. This is a mix of problems, which only show itself when certain solar systems start get heavily overloaded. This combination only manifests itself on Tranquility due to the necessary circumstances required, which is the reason for this happening so sporadically, without any single reason or change causing it.
In addition to deploying server side fixes to address the situation, we will be moving agents from certain high load solar systems to distribute load.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, we're hard at work trying to prevent this from happening again.
Bash aside the buzzwords n jargon for :
Servers are having problems handling the unsharded universe. We have several ideas for what could be wrong but aren't sure so will move things around and try random fixes. Please continue to pay for our product.

"random" and "continue to pay" don't go too well in the same sentence.

Proxies? Why would CCP need to use proxies?
