I have just recieved information which implys that a member of Chimera Pact Alliance (CHIMP) may have been invloved in the theft of a Brutix Class starship named: "Artemis III".
No insurance messages have been recieved so there is reason to believe the "Artemis III" is still functional and out there somewhere, I am prepared to paye above average prices for the safe return of this vessel.
The crime took place in the XW2H-V system and could have happened anytime from yesterday to two months ago. So if you know a CHIMP who's suddenly aquirred a new Brutix class ship from the depths of 0.0 please contact me so we can help solve this mystery.
I dont like to incriminate anyone but so far the evidence suggests that this ship has been taken by a CHIMP. I also ask this because another pod pilot has also been incriminated and any information could lead to the clearing of her name.

as dumb as this thread is, if it were taken seriously post it in the crime and punishment forum as this isn't exactly a post about corporation relations. I doubt anyone will care there either, as it takes people about an hour or 2 to make enough money for a brutix in 0.0. If they jacked a dread or something now that would be interesting

This is to sad. If you left it in a safe in 0.0 space, don't count on it being there when you get back. Especialy if it is left there for two months.
Just buy a new one and stop whining about it.

As I suggested in my original post there is alot more to this than meets the eye, I understand that its safe return may be unlikly and I dread to think what has become of it now. What I am more concerned with is how exactly it went missing? and most importantly who took it?
The Ship was fitted as follows:
7x Mining Laser II
1x 10mm Micro Warp Drive
3x Cap Reacharger I
5x Nanofiber Internal Structure I

covert ops + scan probes + 5 minutes = ship towed.
the lack of insurence payout means nothing because the pilot who found your SS could either get an alt come and fly ship away or if he could fly it but didn't want to fly it all the way to friendly territory he could board it and self destruct, and you get no payout for it

Its a brutix... if it were like an impoc or something, somebody probably would care. If you are a part of CHIMP, you'll prolly get it back, but if you just randomly left it floating in space...GL!

Well, not in 5 minutes, if it's a good safe spot, unless you know something that I don't know.
But it's really no difference between a safe that's 20 AU off the system plane or a super safe 500AU out. Finding them takes almost the same time. No matter what some people say, really safe safespots don't exist anymore.

i would classify this in the same catagory as somone stealing a YUGO  dunno who would want it espcialy a ship with mining lazers on it but you never leave a car parked with the keys in it so why leave a ship un attended that you care about.

mystrey solved.....
the brutix was left in a system within detorid ( a region claimed by CHIMP.
Along witht eh brutix was a POS the owner f which was given 24 hours to remove....this did not happen.
I went down to the system in question....probed out the brutix and an it 4 i believe it was and took them both back to 0-w778..
The brutix was quickly refitted, the mining lasers taken off and offensive modules put in thier place.
In a vein attempt to make this battered old bc battle worthy plates were added blah blah blah.
Unfortunatly.....the brutix did not survive the 10 man RA gank squad it ran into 4 jumps from n-r.
This event took place about a month and a half ago.

Well atleast I can lay this to rest, I suppose I should thank you for your honesty but I hold you just as much responsible for what happened as those who brought about its direct destruction. Next time you borrow some one else's ship you should take better care of it.
The POS actualy had very little to do with me and I admit more thought should have gone into its placement (I was not the one who put it there), when it went under seige I had to abandon the "Artemis III" at a SS. I had every intention of coming back and rescuing it once the situation had cooled down. *sigh* Oh well, thank you for clearing this up Touk.
