I notice the Ogre Blueprint is substantially more isk on the npc market than the other heavy drone BP's. I think it's 7 million for an original. Considering the 'i' info screens for drones are currently bugged, can someone tell me what it is about the Ogre that makes it more effective than a Wasp, Praetor, Beserker etc?

In market press the arrow on the rightside of drones and they will all list with a small info-icon that works...

The drones 'i' button within the npc market has been broken since the uber-patch. Unless it has been fixed today, it still is bugged afaik

In my opinion ogres are propably best heavy drones atm against NPC .They have much more armor ,so they last much longer.They do slitghly more damage ,if remeber the rest of hesvy drones 10 ,ogres 13.They are the slowest drones ,but when fighting NPC it doesnt matter .It can statrt to mtter in pvp though...

No, at least the wasp and ogre are both at 18 damage (kinetic/thermal respectively) since the patch. I don't know about the others.

Ok Iorgot about the patch ,what i wrote was about Ogres before patch:).
Now maybe they have 6 tenetacles and small nuke for dire moments:)

Ogre BPs cost so much more because the drones themselves cost more (why they cost more is a bit of a mystery to me)
Also, the market icons are not entirely broken, they are just in the wrong place. If you click above the adv market or info button, it works properly (you can see where the cursor changes shape)

Ok i checked it,in my opinion the Ogre drones are still best drones after patch:
Berserker stats:
shield 100
armor 200
dam:explosive 16
max speed :420
Ogre stats:
shield: 175
armor 250
dam thermal 18
max speed 300
So they are slower( wich doesnt matter against NPC anyway) ,but they last the longest and bite properly..:)

They are more expensive because everyone has had this thing for heat damage, which Ogres do, and b4 patch, the Ogre did the most damage (13 heat) as well.
I agree with other posters, the wasp is the best drone value ATM, in combination with a smaller amount of Praetors, say a 3-1 ratio.
Since I have BPCs of Ogre, Wasp, and Prator and I made a load before the patch, my DI 3 loadout is 5 Wasps, 2 Ogres and 1 Praetor. It really depends how fast your turret loadout is at dropping shields. If you usually kill opponent's shields pretty quick, Wasps are ideal with all that lovely Kinetic damage chewing their armour to bits. If you're using drones only while mining, the loadout noted above works great. I wouldn't load just one kind of drone unless you're using Tachyons with Radio crystals, or something else that'll drop enemy shields in a heatbeat. Then I'd go ALL Wasps :)
Personally I think Ogres are massivley overpriced now, since it's not only an expensive BP, they now require 5 Megacyte each to build (depending on research and skills of course). I've got a few I made pre-patch, but I'm not likely to be hitting my meagre Mega reserves to replace them as they get killed. OTOH, I'll be sure to recycle badly damaged Ogres instead of running them until they are completely dead. Their min value alone is significant.
