Are Signal Booster making you easier to hit? so your sig bigger?
or harder to hit so your sig lower?

Signal Boosters make your signature *resolution* higher so that you lock things faster.
You're getting it confused with signature radius.

Nah, it ups your Scan Resolution, making it faster to lock other ships. That's it. Oh, and also longer range.

..amazing as it seems, it looks like T2 sig amps also give you more targetign slots.
...I discovered this a few weeks ago.

Yes the tech 2 signal amps for low slots do give +1 targets, however you still have to have the skills to make use of the increase max targets :P
