It says username or password incorrect but I'm definatly typing it correctly and my account has been active for over a year.
Anyone else have the same problem?

Okay so if they mirror the passwords, that is so retarded.
I take a short leave of absence from the game, give my account to some friends who change the pw and now I can't log onto the test server.

Well, I wouldn't consiter that retarded... especially since account sharing is forbidden accoring to the EULA and can get people banned.

I quit the game.
Gave the account to a friend.
Decided I wanted to unquit.
Took account back

And by retarded I mean, that you have seperate authentication databases between the servers. I can't even begin to imagine what a logistics nightmare that could prove to be should people take good security measures and then want to test things.

Ah, ok, now I understand. You broke the clause in the EULA that disallows transfering ownership of accounts, not the clause about account sharing

1 new account and an 2+ year old account , no password changes at all .

Ok dude.. Read that quote again... The server doesn't tell you that when it's down. You need to be able to actually connect to the server first.
