*sigh*
Well.. the whole point of the COSMOS experience is to kinda figure them out on your own.
Now don't take that the wrong way because I'm not flaming you or trolling your nice thread. What I'm getting at here is that COSMOS missions are a one shot thing and are supposed to be a unique and diferent experience as compared to the usual rubber stamp missions from normal agents.
Do yourself a HUGE favor and just try them out without any help at first. They are not all that hard. I've run every Minmatar and Gallente Cosmos agent and the best advice I can throw at you is to go into any COSMOS mission as if it were the next higher lvl regular mission.
For example: Some lvl 3 COSMOS missions are as hard as if not harder than most normal lvl 4 missions.
I guess the point I'm getting at is:
Cosmos missions are SUPPOSED to be challenging.
Don't short change yourself by being hand fed all the info ahead of time.
But then again.... it's your $14.95...

hey hey
Shady acres Deed LOl try looking for 8 hacker slices or trying to get lagastar malotoffs tag :/ or even sleeper data. . . .
but yes COSMOS is 100% for piolots to experience something altogether different. with a greater level of difficulty and more team orientated. is it worth it ? the satisfaction of completeing every COSMOS except 1 (aRgHhh !!) is certainly worth the couple of weeks i spent there. as well as some exclusive items . . 2 faction ships. . . +4 implants. . . +3 implants. . . isk . . . .

Still,a little warning at times would be nie, like knowing that in order to fisnish a mission ina cruiser complex where you only have a one time key, you will be facing multiple 1 million bounty foes... wich completely anihilated me, and as I had no chance of obtaining a second key, ended that mission series for me prematurely. Disapointing.

Edited by: Masu''di on 05/05/2006 02:16:11 i thoroughly enjoyed the Thukker COSMOS
apart from the bugs... *killing allied npcs *rubbish rewards *NPC spawns scrambling for 4 points *an inbalanced deadspace, where the only feasible ship for the job is a HAC. a battleship or battlecruiser won't fit, and taking a gang of three cruiser or assault frigs is not enough. |

hey hey
ok, My COSMOS tips
1) spend a couple of days scouting getting used to the plexes and rats 2) Get as much as possible done pre talking to the agents, ie. collect keys, loot, items 3) Local is your greatest friend - info/help etc. 4) Farmers=bad but they do know where most stuff can be found 5) patience wins the day. dont let COSMOS fustration get the better of you. 6) AF's can tank the cruiser complexes alot better than a cruiser :( 7) WCS - lots of Bstrds scam in there
I havent done The Caldari COSMOS but i think theses rules seem to apply to all of them only time i went to okkellen was in another skin and pre RMR and the farming was at its height but CCP changed it for the better..

any of the L1 agents should be ok. Generally the entry system into the cosmos constellation has the L1 agents..
warp to the beacons look at the agent info talk to the agent after a scouting expedition and read the missions and try to get the items before accepting them

Mikals tips are good, use them. I would also recommend moving a variety of ships the constellation hub. A hauler, an AF, a cruiser . Most COSMOS series have a mix of missions and the different complexes restrict ships quite heavily.
But if you havnt got the firepower team up with some people in local. You can usually find someone to help out.
